Taylor Test Strips
Pool owners will find Taylor’s dry chemistry formulations as reliable as the liquid kits they have trusted for years.
The free chlorine test will not give a false-positive reading in the presence of monopersulfate (non-chlorine oxidizer) or a high level of combined chlorine.
Taylor’s color charts are specially printed to ensure consistent color throughout every production run, and our unique shake-to-dispense lid design prevents degradation from air and moisture.
Taylor Residential Series Test Kits
Taylor’s Residential Series™ test kits are designed for spa and pool owners who have low bather loads and test their water between visits from a service technician or trips to their pool supplies store. This series uses the same quality reagents as Taylor’s kits for professional analysts.
Buyers have a choice of three progressively more sophisticated models: 3-Way, 6-Way, and 9-Way.
The 3-Way and 6-Way kits offer a choice of N,N-diethyl-pphenylenediamine (DPD) or orthotolidine (OTO) for determining sanitizer residuals.
The 9-Way kit uses the DPD method exclusively and includes tests for calcium hardness and the stabilizer level in water treated with cyanuric acid, pool/spa dosage charts, and a copy of I Never Liked Chemistry.
Taylor’s Commercial 2000 Series™ Test Kits
The 2000 Series™ was designed to permit users to build up their test kits in a stepwise fashion as their testing needs grow without having to purchase duplicate components.
The family of products includes the Starter™, Test 4™, Complete™, Service Complete™, and Pool Inspector™ models.
Thanks to this upgrade system, a buyer can begin with the fundamentals in the Starter kit and build his way to a comprehensive testing tool called, appropriately enough, the Complete kit.
Several of the kits in this series feature FAS-DPD drop tests, which can measure free and combined chlorine directly as low as 0.2 ppm.
