Zeo Products

Who is Zeo, Inc.
For over 30 years, ZEO, Inc. has been researching, developing, and marketing ZEO branded and private label products that are sold domestically and internationally.
Ruby Sand
Ruby Sand, porous ceramic, is a sand replacement that has been used by the water filtration industry for many years. The primary reason for Ruby Sand’s rapid acceptance by the filtration industry is improved clarity (3 to 5 microns) of Ruby Sand versus sand (20 to 40 microns).

Why Use Ruby Sand?
Ruby Sand is growing rapidly in the swimming pool industry and here is why:
Cost similar to traditional sand
- 20 pound bag replaces 50 pounds of sand
Filters down to 3-5 Microns
- Filter Surface area 6.5X greater than traditional Sand
Long Lasting – Lasts as long or longer that traditional filter sand or glass
Saves Water – Fewer backwashes Doubles or Triples length of backwash cycles compared to traditional sand
Natural and Environmentally safe
DE like clarity, up to 90% better than sand
ZEO Ruby Sand Natural Zeolite Filter Media
Save your back and filter better
Filtration Quality:
- Ruby Sand - 3-5 Microns
- Sand 20-40 Microns
- The difference is in the surface area with more than 140x more surface area per pound Ruby Sand can filter out exceptionally better
Weight per bag:
- Ruby Sand 20 lbs
- Sand 50 lbs
- Use 1 bag of Ruby Sand to replace 1 bag of sand
- Instead of carrying 300 lbs of sand to a filter you carry 120 lbs of Ruby Sand

ZeoFiber
It is a “GREEN” Replacement for D.E.
ZeoFiber is a blend of natural cellulose fibers that replaces diatomateous earth in pool and spa filters. In D.E. filters, ZeoFiber replaces the D.E. and safely cleans pool water. In cartridge and sand filters, ZeoFiber works as a filter aid and improves water clarity.
ZeoFiber Benefits:
- Safe and Natural
- Biodegradable
- Finer Filtration
- Longer Filter Cycles
- Easy to Use
- Economical
ZeoFiber Benefits
Improve Your Filter with ZeoFiber
How are we improving your filter?:
Finer Filtration with ZeoFiber
- In the filter, the cellulose fibers in ZeoFiber nest together to form a highly uniform filter coating that traps the smallest of particles. The resulting filtration is higher than that of D.E. giving you cleaner, clearer water.
Longer Filter Cycles
- Since ZeoFiber is fluffy (low bulk density) one pound of ZeoFiber replaces eight pounds of D.E. After your initial charge of ZeoFiber you may see a shorter cycle (backwashing/recharging) due to the removal of smaller particles to achieve the higher filtration rate. Once your water is stabilized you will see the time between your cycles increase at least two times when compared to D.E. cycles.
Use Less ZeoFiber than D.E.
- D.E. requires up to eight times more product (by weight) to achieve a filtration rate comparable to ZeoFiber. The filtering layer formed by the long fibers of ZeoFiber is quite dense and forms quickly into a thin layer. D.E. on the other hand, has irregularly sized particles that must form into a thick layer to provide an adequate filtration screen.
Biodegradable, Environmentally Safe
- ZeoFiber is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and biodegradable. Since the ZeoFiber cellulose fibers are derived from trees, ZeoFiber is a renewable resource. ZeoFiber dos not contain silica and is safe in the environment.
Economical
- With the extended time between cycles you will have fewer backwashes, using less water chemicals, filter media and spend less time maintaining your pool or spa.
